Pls help with wrist anatomy

Slightly embarassed to ask an anatomy question….

M70 imaged for wrist pain at the palmar/radial aspect.

There’s marked FCR tendinopathy and tenosynovitis at that level, probably accounting for the pain.

What puzzles me is a thin tendon which seems to originate in a small muscle at the palmar/radial aspect of the distal radius, courses initially deep to the FCR and radial to the FPL, more distally in between the two, directly ulnar to the FCR, and then I can’t see it anymore.

I’ve marked it with a "?" on the attached PPT images.

As always, grateful for you help. Have a good start this week.

Andrei
