The subtraction was corrupted by slight misregistration, there may be minimal enhancement?
No mention of this is available history, in 2012 he had hilar and mediastinal lymphadenopathy, DDx of sarcoid and lymphoma was reported….I have no follow up….though the fact that he volunteered a history of Prostate Ca argues against a history of another malignancy (I think)
Of the articles on subcutaneous sarcoid I could access with images, this MRI in this case report looks different.
I know there are different patterns of muscle sarcoid, so I don’t know how variable it might be.
Since I suspect he probably has sarcoid, does anyone know if these features suggest it?
I see those tiny internal foci of fat signal on T1.
I will recommend biopsy, but am curious what you think this might be.
Thanks.
Hilary
