This is an 18 yr old male s/p osteochondroma resection Nov 2021
Now with 2 weeks generalized knee pain
No prior XR or MRI in our system

I wonder if this is a small undersurface tear…not sure it explains his
pain, can’t know

So this cartilage cap measures 13.5mm
It’s much thicker than what I generally see for osteochondroma—on the
order of a few mm (I personally don’t trust the cut off of 1.5 or 2
cm….DO YOU?)

I get the sense that the osteochondroma was resected more cranially

This is clearly for the orthopedic oncologist…but I am curious how you
would report this.

Thanks.
