This case was presented for interpretation yesterday.
16 yo M with ALL and pancytopenia. He presents for imaging secondary to
“Acute and severe bilateral knee pain, question septic joint.”
There are bone infarcts in the proximal right and left tibia which I called
“non-acute”. Soon after I started to wonder if bone marrow edema could be
less obvious in the setting of pancytopenia.
