Feedback on the case: Male with knee pain and interesting findings

Good day!

We are very grateful for everyone’s effort and feedback. Every opinion leaned towards degenerative changes.

I will put the summary of what we conseidered were the main answers below:

"bone on bone oa. replace medial compt. no biopsy. meniscus gone. cart gone. deep mcl gone with bursitis. bone and periosteum -stress remodeling" Dr. Avneesh Chhabra.

"Pes anserine bursitis with intramedullary extension." Dra. Amy Liebeskind.

"i would lean heavily towards degenerative … just reactive subchondral sclerosis and component of soft tisue with the cystic change. wouldn’t biopsy … just follow if that" Dr. Peter Young.

A good reading sugestion from Dr. Amy Liebeskind related to the case: Colak C, Ilaslan H, Sundaram M. Bony changes of the tibia secondary to pes anserine bursitis mimicking neoplasm. Skeletal Radiol. 2019 Nov;48(11):1795-1801. doi: 10.1007/s00256-019-03229-6. Epub 2019 May 15. PMID: 31093712.
