Growing Thigh Mass (67y.o. M) MRI, please help

Correction for my case, there is no apparent restricted diffusion.

Thank you for the help,

Bradley

Hey everyone,

Happy Friday. Have a case of a growing left thigh mass in a 67 y.o. male without any prior imaging available. Reported to have been incidentally found on a CTA for claudication January 2022, which has recently started growing rapidly. No other imaging available.

PPT attached, please let me know what you think.

Leading ddx is a myxoid liposarcoma given the macroscopic fat and high PD/T2FS signal. However, given close proximity and possible sciatic nerve involvement, does anyone suspect this is a PSNT (schwannoma) with fat or even malignant degeneration? Or, even something I may not be thinking of?

Any guidance or insight is appreciated.

Best,

Bradley Scher
