has anyone heard something about a plica in the glenohumeral joint. Here I
can see a plica like structure posterior in the joint.

Dear MSK-friends,
I am impressed how many of you shared your opinion about this case.
To summarize:
– Some of you think this might only be the posterior capsule,
which folds on itself and expands into the joint. This might be seen
because the arm is positioned in external rotation and there is not
expansion of the joint like in an arthrogram or with effusion
– Others showed me that posterior synovial folds are not that
uncommon. Andrea Rosskopf shared with us a nice paper (Ogul 2018). Luis
Cerezal shared with us a similar paper from the same group (Ogul 2018 bjr),
the first paper on this topic (Novak 2009) and also enclosed a part of his
RSNA presentation.
