There is no volar ganglion. He is a highly regarded hand surgeon so I
trust his clinical exam and presume the pain is primarily volar.
My questions are:
1. How can I know if there is a chronic partial ECU split vs normal double
bundle anatomy?
2. The median nerve is bright on PDFS in the carpal tunnel, but does not
appear thickened and does not bow the carpal ligament. Would you report
this as possible CTS, or brush it off as normal variation?
