I would appreciate any comments on this case of an African woman living in Egypt.
Case History: Thirty-year-old female without significant past medical history who is having an area of generalized swelling in her mid and lower back along with some skin nodules scattered over the same area that started since Jan 2023. She feels the underlying swelling/mass is mobile. She cannot lay on her back or sit for an extended period of time. No neurological symptoms, no fever . No previous procedures in the area.
Only noncontrast MRI of the lumbar spine is available, as attached.
What would you include in your DDx? What would your next steps be for furter workup?
