S/p molar tooth extraction—so many I see

Face:

Extracranial mandibular nerve: Normal.

Extracranial maxillary nerve: Normal.

Inferior alveolar nerve: Normal.

Lingual nerve: Thickening and increased signal of the left lingual nerve with a 6.7 mm neuroma in continuity just proximal to the molar tooth extraction site.

Salivary glands: Mild disuse atrophy of the left sublingual and submandibular glands

Other findings: Mild mucosal thickening in the bilateral ethmoid sinuses. Mild rightward nasal septal deviation.

IMPRESSION:

1. Sunderland class 4 injury of the left lingual nerve with a 6.7 mm neuroma in continuity with about 1 cm lingual nerve abnormality.

NS-RADS: Nerve: I4 – Injury Sunderland class 4, Muscle: M0 – Normal
