Times we live in.
55 year old female with chronic shoulder pain. She has “ticks and fleas” in
that she has adhesive capsulitis as well as calcific tendinitis. There is
deltoid edema and the history said no recent injury. I have a good
relationship with the rheumatologist and called to see if she has had
recent injury not reported (it happens frequently unfortunately). Usually
this finding is seen with a contusion like in an MVA or assault. He said
not that he knows of. Did she get the vaccination? Yes, 5 days ago.

Notice the deltoid myofascial junction edema in the last image.
