Shoulder MRI 68F, 3 weeks pain and swelling, no trauma

Prescription said “rotator cuff tear”.
What do you think is going on? (I don’t have XRs)

    She has polycythemia vera.
    What do you think, now?

    Clinically the patient has extensive arm bruising and this is all bursal hemorrhage. Presumably she is on blood thinners for her Polycythemia Vera and its just too much.

    Clinically she has bruising down her arm and this is all blood in the bursa.
    Polycythemics tend to clot so most are maintained on blood thinners….I
    suspect she’s a bit too thinned.

    Not very helpful to get a prescription in a case like this “r/o
    rotator cuff tear”.
