Shoulder MR arthrogram 31M with pain 6 weeks after fall

Why can’t we see the contrast in the MRI?
Reported by the arthrographer as “intra-articular contrast injection”, was
he wrong?

I find so much utility for the BLO sequence—mostly, it is our go to
sequence to confirm or exclude labral tear, but it is perpendicular to the
infraspinatus tendon, offers a good look at the subscapularis and the
pectoralis major insertion and, in this case, is the only plane that
clearly shows the HAGL lesion.
It was the anteroinferior pericapsular edema tracking along the scapula and
(in the Cor images) the humeral shaft that raised my index of suspicion for
capsular injury.

To answer my question, there was radioopaque contrast in the joint, but
someone forgot to mix in the Gadolinium.
Such is the peril of relying on someone other than yourself to mix in the
Gadolinium.
The examination is diagnostic, though I suspect I might have missed the
HAGL without the BLO sequence.
