Pattern reminiscent of Parsonage Turner Syndrome, which would be my first guess.

MRI shows edema of the lateral clavicle w/ pseudocysts like in lateral clavicle osteolysis and edema of the supraspinatus and clavicular/anterior part of the deltoid, supraspinatus edema is most pronounced around the myotendinous junction. No fatty degeneration of the muscle bellies.
