Shoulder – bipolar- GLAD- report attached for your learning.

Dear Phil,

You and Dr. Resnick brought a good point- why GLAD as it is supposed to be a stable lesion.

Ans. is simple- my fellow put it in so I kept it as it is 1st principle in teaching fellows- not to annoy them.

To be honest- I don’t use GLAD in most reports as almost 40-60% d/ls have a cartilage lesion on 3D MRI

Here it is attritional bone loss (not Bankart fracture) with a known history of multiple prior dislocations in a young person- more like AMBRI type- didn’t have the other shoulder imaged- otherwise I would have suggested it.

BTW- All come to Tx to enjoy 60F weather if feeling too cold!
