Question about Femoral Osteochondroma Cartilage Cap, 34M

Tatiane Cantarelli shared this.I clearly over-estimated the thickness using this technique!

In the axial plane the cap is less than 2mm at the mid-inferior aspect of the osteochondroma. Is bows the overlying quadratus femoris, but there is no adventitial bursa.

At the posterosuperior aspect I measure up to 1.6cm thickness, but the contour is irregular….lots of hills and valleys—so it is not clear where to make the measurement and if I am over-estimating.

How should I measure this?
How should I report this?

Thank you.
