60 year old patient clinically suspected of cubital tunnel syndrome.
At the level of the cubital tunnel non-enhanced MRI shows what I think is a
bifid ulnar nerve with swelling of the palmar-sided limb over 7-8 mm, up to
a tranverse diameter of 3.5 mm. Swelling due to entrapment? Or a small
mass? Contrast scans show no pathologic uptake, which I guess rules out a
Schwanoma. Or is that a small cyst, e.g. perineural cyst?
Any suggestions?
