please help! cranial lesion in child

Hi, dear friends,

9yr boy, bony probtuberance in right parietal. What’s the diagnosis? and why the inner band of diploe was sparing? Focus of fibrous dysplasia?
Focal hematopoietic hyperplasia?
Incipient osteoma arising atypically from the diploe?

  1. I think it is an osteoma involving the tabula externa and therefore the inner part of the diploe is spared.

    That’s what i mentioned to Xian

    Ossified hematoma- common lesion at bone sites which get bumped all the time- anterior tibia and skull
