  1. I agree and would call it ‘mixed connective tissue disorder’, melorrheostosis being part of this.

    Hi,dear ocaders,
    Here’s another case. The orthopedist worried a malignant osteoblastic tumor due to the high uptake on bone scan.
    I think the leison in femur is melorheostosis,but how to explain the cloddy ossification in iliopsoas bursae. The orthopedist also want to know the soft tissue ossification is synovial chondromatosis or not. I believe this two manifestation result from the same disease. “myositis ossificans-like”soft tissue ossifications was reproted in the melorheostosis literature. But I am still not confident about the dignosis. espeically high uptake on bone scan. need your help. Thanks!
