Piriformis strain

31 yo male, doing yoga – Grade 2 priformis strain increasing the size of hte muscle, also with fluid extending anteriorly beyond fascia, contacting the posterior aspect of the sciatic nerve which is secondarily hyperintense and quite symptomatic.

On a separate note, I’ve occasionally seen hip subluxations in middle aged females doing yoga – , so it’s not without its risks!
