Hi
A colleague showed me this case and would appreciate your opinion.
Woman in early 40s. Thoracic spine MRI with submitted history: “Hx of spinal fracture – core weakness – ? injury affecting spinal cord.” PMH hypothyroidism. No provided history of malignancy or other available imaging.
There seems to be diffuse marrow replacement but also what look like several mutilevel ABCs. Any particular entity that can cause this? Could these be hemorrhagic mets?
Thanks in advance
Zaid
This is a summary of the responses:
4 favouring mets (including hemorrhagic mets)
1 favouring myeloma
1 hemangiomatosis
Cystic angiomatosis was also mentioned as potential but less favoured possibility
Thanks for everyone who shared their views, very much appreciated.
Best regards
Zaid
