Due to CLSS- premature degenerate changes

The discs herniate everywhere- anterior, in endplates, as schmorls nodes, shallow disc bulges (butt shaped) osterolateral annular tears and herniations, spondylolisthesis, etc.

I would like a group opinion.
People have different development of the intervertebral discs and there is a wide range of normality.
How you write in the report, these intervertebral discs in a male, 12 year old.

    Disc dysplasia?
    Normal?
    Other?

    Criteria for CLSS

    Intracanalicular width less than 14mm
Funneled canal – canal dimension decreasing towards L5- it should get larger craniocaudally from L1 – L5
Pedicle dimension AP-less than 9-10 mm

All of them are positive here

Desk has nowhere to go then except anteriorly, in the body and posterolat due to csf pressure- more shallow bulges and Posterolateral bulges with annular tears

Most Scheurmann’s disease cases are also due to CLSS- incorrectly labeled on x-rays as end-plate weakness

Any degeneration before middle ages is premature

The term is used commonly in Msk or Bone world!

I don’t see any canal stenosis – is that the best term for the premature degen?
