OCAD_Please help_multicystic intramuscular mass_MRI

Dear colleagues,

these are the answers I got so far:

· NF2

· Intramuscular myxoma

· Myxoma, St-rads2

· It could be an intramuscular hydatid cyst.

Very similar with images from this article:

Intramuscular hydatid cyst in the lower extremity: report of three cases

· I don’t like how low it is on T1. I’m favoring sarcoma.

· Could it be a hydatid cyst?

· I would vote for a slow flow vascular malformation.

· Looks benign.

Adjacent vessel ?AVM but cystic areas unusual.

Hemangioma possible although no fat.

Shape suggests neurofibroma but cysts not typical.

My first diagnosis is IPEH

Please see the paper below

Imaging findings of intravascular papillary endothelial hyperplasia presenting in extremities: correlation with pathologic findings.

Skeletal Radiology 2010, Vol 39, p. 783-789.

Thank you all very much.

Best wishes

Chris
