(OCAD) Tibia NOF and Fibula bone cyst – differentials? f/u?

Hi all,

this is a 13 year old imaged after trauma.
Incidental findings: what I think is a NOF at the tibia and a simple bone
cyst at the fibula.
Do you agree? Any differentials?
XR follow up at least the fibula lesion since its expansile? or not
necessary?

Cheers,

Andrei

  1. OCAD

Sorry, I meant aneurysmatic bone cyst at the fibula.
Do you agree? Would you do any f/u?

    Thanks,
    Andrei

  2. Hi everyone,

    many thanks for your replies!

    Here’s a brief summary:

    – Most responders think these are NOFs or fibrous dysplasia at both
    fibula and tibia.
    – Chondromyxoid fibroma and adamantinoma get mentioned both for and
    against 😊
    – XR at 6 months was the most common f/u suggestion.

Thank you all, and have a lovely day!

    Andrei
