Hi everyone,
I know this is an MSK forum – hope you’ll forgive this posting 🙂
M43 with reddish bump on left thigh, had it for 2-3 years already,
reportedly sometimes more, sometimes less prominent.
I see a vascularized, solid, ovoid, subq lesion without involvement of
fascia / muscle, 2.5 x 1.2 cm (1 x 0.5 inch).
Surgeons pressing for a DDx. Told them to take it out and let path tell,
but they insist 🙂
What is your impression?
Thanks, and have a great day!
Andrei
hello,
The ultrasound appearance is nonspecific. The lesion is highly vascularized so I would recommend removal or biopsy. Sometimes sarcomas can look like this.
Kind regards from Spain.
