F60 imaged for predominantly left hip pain.
She has arthritis of the left hip joint with synovitis, which I’m not sure about: inflammatory/infectious/OA?…. definitely more prominent than in a prior MRI from 2022 (not shown).
(Her hip pain might be complicated by symmetrical bilateral exostoses at the trochanter with soft tissue impingement as posted previously.)
There’s also edema along the obturator internus tendon. Would you think this is reactive obturator internus bursitis in the setting of hip joint arthritis, or rather mechanical friction? Prior MRI from 2022 didn’t show this finding, and the hip joint changes were far less prominent.
