MRI leg 13 year old chronic, migratory pain, not physically active, MRI and CT, Help Please

The tech scanned the wrong leg…this leg used to be symptomatic–he is
going to return for the right leg, which is currently symptomatic.
But, there is intracortical bright T2 signal and both periosteal and
endosteal edema in both the tibia and fibula, with no marrow infiltration.

The CT was reported as stress injury, without knowledge of the clinical
history. He is, according to the Peds orthopedist, a “blob”…not fat, but
utterly inactive. He said this cannot be stress injury.

Apparently the child previously had metatarsal pain, too, which has
resolved.
The referrer suspects CRMO.
Can that look like this?

When we get the MRI of the symptomatic RLE, I will share those images.
