After a very successful inaugural meeting way back in the before-times in
2019 in Scottsdale, AZ, the people wanted more.
We will be holding our 2nd Live event:
Time: Noon-6PM
Location: Loews Coronado Bay, San Diego, CA (same venue as SSR)
This is a meeting unlike any you have attended…..unless you were there in
2019.
It draws inspiration from the on-line forum, in that the content is created
by and for the participants.
There are no invited, didactic lectures—-it is a “horizontal” structure,
with everyone ideally participating equally in the discussion.
It is largely case based, with additional “special” sessions, including a
non-image based hot-topic “unmeeting” discussion session, and games.
Of course, since the attendees create the program, we don’t know the exact
details of next year’s program at this time….but given the talent and
level of enthusiasm, it promises to be great.
We are 64% registered…..many of whom were in attendance in 2019.

In order to not over-register, this is how it will work:

(name, email address, cell contact)
You will receive a link to payment, using either PayPal or Venmo.
Registration fee is $100, and payment confirmation is confirmation of
registration.
See the attached Program from OCAD Live 2019!, understanding
that OCAD Live 2022! will be somewhat different.
This is different from your typical meetings. This is a non-hierarchical
meeting where all attendees have an equal voice…and (ideally) everyone is
actively engaged. The content is programmed and provided by the
attendees. We are going to start planning the meeting as a group right
after the New Year…inviting everyone to get involved. That is why it
would be best to fill registration sooner than later.
