Help Please- Incidental mass inferior to ischial tuberosity

Thigh MRI shows Incidental 3.6 cm mass just inferior to ischial tuberosity,
deep to the inferior aspect of the gluteus maximus muscle, small amount of
edema around the nodule. Pain was in lateral knee radiating up to the
thigh. No pain in this region. Knee MRI showed a partial root tear of
medial meniscus and mild IT band syndrome. Patient states they have been
using a roller a lot over the last week which may explain the edema around
the mass. It looks fibrous to me but I’m not sure what this is, and not
comfortable leaving it alone. One thought was a cyclist ischial hygroma
just researching lesions in this area.

Thank you in advance for your opinions.

I’ve seen a Morel Lavallee in this atypical location before. What is it’s relationship to the fascia?
I have tried to attach a ppt but it won’t let me!
