Guidance on DDH and shallow acetabula

Hi all,

Our peds orthopedists have informed us that they are seeing high number of
referrals for uncovered femoral heads/shallow acetabulum in older children
and young adults, in which the hips are normal.

On the other hand, we have orthopedists who tell us we are under calling
and missing the under coverage of the femoral heads.

Do you have good suggestions or helpful articles about how to improve
accuracy and inter observer reliability?

    Hi

    We have a strong hip group and I have learnt a lot from hip surgeons.

    There are about 20 articles in making on anatomy, gait, pelvic tilt, and functional outcomes- some already accepted- eg higher freq of spine anomalies in adult hip dysplasia, etc.
