Easy case – if you know it? Or normal?

I want to sum up the responses in this case. The hand surgeon claims that there is a trapezium dysplasia and a subluxation in the CMC-joints.
I also think there is an unexpected subluxated appearance in the 1. CMC joints, but I am not experienced with trapezium dysplasia.

I received this link from Volker Lapczynski, with some illustrations that are quite suggestive:
https://www.researchgate.net/publication/346667210_Radiological_measurement_of_trapezial_dysplasia_-_variation_of_trapezial_tilt_and_trapezial_inclination

Some of you agreed with this once I mentioned the possibility, but only 1 commented initially on the subluxation appearance rather than the brachydactyli.

On the other hand (pun intended), others are in doubt:

I see this all of the timeI have been told by a hand surgeon in other cases that it was "nothing"
I think it depends on the clinical context

I don’t think the trapeziums (trapezii?) look abnormal. lateral subluxation of 1st CMC joints could be due to ligamentous laxity. Consider SLE, Ehlers-Danlos, etc

So, I am not sure about this case, but will have a focus on this bone from now on…

Thanks, everyone!

A lot of people immediately point out the brachydactyli, I did not see that (and the symptoms were not there either). Actually the symptoms are from the 1st ray, some hypermobility, weak thumb pinching bilaterally, associated with some pain.

I am not sure here – so happy to get input. Ingrid Kjellin mentioned already to me that there appears to be subluxation of the 1st CMC joints. Is there a trapezium dysplasia? (This is what the hand surgeon claims)

I decided to give you this view as well:

Hi again

History withheld. The hand surgeon says that the primary "Normal findings" description is not correct. I think I agree, but let’s hear if anyone has any opinion?
There were other projections as well, but this is what you get!

Best,
Roar
