Hello,
When we manage similar cases with our neurosurgeon, I do first an infiltration of the coccygeal disc, for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
A. Complete relief, no further action
B. Transitory relief, argument for surgery
C. No relief, search other causes

Hi, thank you all for your aswers.
The majority of ocaders considers there is not necesary somethin pathologic about coccys

Avneesh Chhabra suggested injecting the impar ganglion for test/ analgesisa – I will discuss this with the neurologist and neurosurgeon

Hi, dear Ocaders,
Can I please have your opinion regarding the last coccyx vertebrae, which seems dislocatated from the proximal one
I see no inflammation arround – I looked with ultrasound also
Apparently no clear mobility of this one, but the patient is in a lot of pain more than 8 month
It is true that she’s not in a good state of mind, probably depression, but I would like to exclude an organic cause
Do you think that this vertebrae, without any inflammation arround can cause intense pain when sitting for the last 8 month?
If so, should it be resected, in your experience?
Thanks a lot,
Sorin
