Colleagues, Happy new year. Was wondering if any of you has tried US for spinal interventions including but not limited to epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections and nerve root blocks? I have seen some literature from outside the US about using ultrasound for cervical nerve root injections but I would appreciate any input from

Hi fellow rads, a healthy new year! Is it just me or do you also see increasing referrals for myositis? I have observed this in the UK roughly for the past 6-12 months. Maybe coincidental but still weird. Björn Two more today (referral: ongoing myalgia and weakness):

How would you describe the radial collateral ligament / capsular injury? There is an empty sulcus at the MC head insertion of the RCL, so I want to call this a complete tear with thickening and fraying of the torn ligament. Do you agree? This is a bit odd….the volar plate (red arrows) is torn

So if you haven’t encountered them- don’t worry! Happy new year from Tx! Best! AC Avneesh Chhabra, M.D.

Hi, a few more interesting comments regarding this case: Lesion is locally infiltrative, histopathology can only be guessed at. Patient is not that old. Anecdotal reports of deterioration following Bx of desmoid are just that, could just be coincidence. I refer such a patient to a sarcoma (not general oncology) surgeon for complete excision as

Results; separated by paragraphs for different institutes. Some redacted due to personal statements. Interesting differences. USA Acaedemic: The Interventional and Neuroradiologists make a little more base salary. How much more I’m not sure. We have a bonus plan but its around 5% or less of our overall salary. The bonus system is pretty fair in

Thanks for all of your comments and thoughts on this case. There was zero consensus and I didn’t find any real guidance with regards to my actual question about that (admittedly subtle) erosion at the anterior humeral head. To be clear, we do not routinely use iv contrast to evaluate adhesive capsulitis…..we do whatever our referrers
