14 year old male, fall, Avulsion of the periosteum at the insertion of the pronator quadratus muscle, with the formation of a small hematoma on the anterior face of the distal metaphysis of the radius, associated with a type 1 Salter-Harris fracture, with entrapment of the periosteum into the physis.

Adding two cases from my archive on IFI, illustrating both findings in this region. 1. Adventitial bursitis due to IFI-related chronic tearing and atrophy of the quadratus femoris. 2.
