There is a chronic meniscal ossicle embedded in the stump of the posterior horn medial meniscal root (red arrow) which is chronically avulsed (black arrow) He got the MRI because he’s symptomatic, obviously, but there is no medial compartment cartilage thinning and no meniscal body extrusion—which is difficult to explain…..can you?
