Hi everyoneA 63 yr old female diabetic work up for rheumatoid arthritis negative
Has severe neck pain with stiffness and restricted movements
The odontoid erosions suggested rheumatoid arthritis to me.

The majority of opinions favoured CPPD .
The coronal picture is typical of crowned dens syndrome with periodontoid calcification.
