Lumbrical muscle enhancement on MRI

I saw this case some time ago that arrived undiagnosed.
Based on the article you mentioned, I considered the possibility of rheumatoid arthritis.
I followed this patient, and the diagnosis was subsequently confirmed clinically.
Subsequently, the patient developed clinically detectable arthritis, and laboratory tests confirmed rheumatoid arthritis, and treatment was initiated.
We considered gadolinium uptake in the lumbricoid muscles, a very early finding of the disease, in this case.
The images are T1-weighted images with gadolinium.
