Dear all,Off-topic but my involvement with rheumatologists has seen this land on my lap. But maybe you also work with rheumatologists and can help?
We have seen a sudden increase in MRI requests for patients with confirmed giant cell arteritis, predominantly the arch and great vessels (with the odd rare request for head+neck+intracranial).
My rheumatologist friend tells me they are interested in both structural (stenosis, aneurysms) and disease activity.
Does anybody do a reasonable volume of these? We are struggling a bit protocol wise and would appreciate any guidance. We have a mix Philips, Siemens, 3T and 1.5T and can shunt these studies to one specific location.
Kind regards,
Anthony.
