2nd case of the morning. I looked at the muscles expecting a strain or tendon tear and they looked normal. Then went to his bones looking for a stress fracture and saw the dark excrescence coming from the posterior tibia and thought "Oh cortical thickening from a chronic stress fracture." Then I thought what the heck, it looks like it’s flowing so maybe it’s melorheostosis? Then noticed the bilateral dark dots in both tibias and thought, I need someone good to look at this damn thing so I turned to Google and asked "Is there a syndrome combining melorheostosis and osteopoikilosis" because although I’m sure you all know this, I didn’t. The AI answer was:

Yes, there is a syndrome that combines features of melorheostosis and osteopoikilosis, known as Melorheostosis with Osteopoikilosis. It is also referred to as MSBD syndrome or mixed sclerosing bone dystrophy. Of course I don’t know and will try to get follow up.

This time I am trusting AI. 🙂 Please feel free to comment if you wish, especially with any experience. I make the solemn promise that I won’t jump down your throat for any criticism.
