66F fell 2 weeks ago with Knee Pain, XR and MRI. Please Help.

I have received several comments….

Most people favor a benign vascular lesion…but would like to further investigate with CT.
Dr. Vande Berg added it would be nice to see a CT with bone scan where the lesion is not hot.
Nobody seems to think it is an enchondroma either.

Thank you.

Hilary

I was concerned about this ill defined area of sclerosis and peripheral lucency in the lateral view and recommended MRI

The only True T1 is in the Axial plane

The MCL sprain explains the traumatic pain.
Another radiologist reported the bone lesion as presumed enchondroma, adding that a low grade chondrosarcoma cannot be excluded.

Is this typical of enchondroma in your opinion?
Does this warrant orthopedic oncologic consultation, or am I confused? Or both?

Thanks.

Hilary
