NONSURGICAL RESOLUTION OF A BUCKET HANDLE MENISCAL TEAR – COMENTS

Hi.
Thanks to everyone who commented :

It is probably the situation that the flap has gone back into a place. But on the current scan a vertical tear is still visible, so the fragment could displace again. Given that I will be hesitant to call it resolution. Cheers,Kamil.

Never seen it before. Very cool. I wonder if it is still an unstable tear that can change position from displaced to nondisplaced. Mohammed Nawas.

Hillary sent a similar case presented in Savannah 23 (attached). The bucket fragment relocated, but this is a complex tear that isn’t confined to the red-red zone. I think it will still need to be derided, don’t you? Hillary.

I would say it has just flipped back but still unstable . We usually see it the other way round tear then -instability. Dr Dimitri Amiras.

There seems to be a consensus that this patient needs treatment!

Kind regards.
