It is Great when more of us participate in sharing cases and advice.But it is imperative that we take care to remove all Protected Health Information.
That means No Name or date of birth…
Not even a medical record number or name of an imaging center with date of exam.
Wipe it All.
It is easy to wipe the information from MR, CT & XR….but it’s embedded in US !
That’s a pain…. But please take care to snip out the US images to remove all PHI.
It’s a serious violation with up to $50,000 USD in fines. We can’t allow it!!!!
