FINDINGS: Markers have been placed at the site of concern.
Size: 8.1 x 4.2 x 6.9 cm., Same as before
Location: Right ilium
Characteristics:
Matrix: T1 predominantly hyperintense and T2 mixed intensity signal characteristics
Uniformity: Heterogenous
Fluid-fluid levels: No
Transition zone: Narrow-edema absent
Periosteal reaction: None
Chemical shift (Dixon) imaging: No significant signal loss on opposed phase imaging.
Diffusion imaging: Hyperintense. ADC measures: 1.8.
Perfusion imaging: No early perfusion, or AV shunting.
Delayed post-contrast imaging: Predominantly peripheral enhancement.
Extent:
Soft tissue mass: No
Intra-articular involvement: No
Neural involvement: No
Nodal involvement: No
Incidental findings: Right hip dysplasia with lateral acetabular lipping, bilateral hip labral tears, right worse than left. Moderate right hip effusion. Large para labral cyst extending posterior superiorly with peripheral enhancement, adjacent fascial edema. Grade 4 cartilage defect of the superolateral right hip joint with minimal articular surface flattening of the right femoral head and subchondral edema related to prior insufficiency injury. Inferolateral femoral head and neck bumps bilaterally.
IMPRESSION:
Stable fibrous dysplasia.
Grade 4 cartilage defects of the right hip.
RECOMMENDATIONS: OT-RADS: II. Definitely benign osseous tumor. Any additional imaging is at the discretion of the clinical team.
