loose Truespan anchor

From an orthopedien

Yes I’ve seen this before. The implant can migrate and have to go fish it out.
Not a great system. I don’t use it anymore.

At first I thought the intraarticular item was a fragment of the tibial interference screw, but the screw appears intact. It appears that the item is actually the PEEK anchor part of the Mitek Truespan meniscus repair system, which should be extracapsular but has somehow found its way into the joint. Has anyone seen this before? I had not.
