Hi everyone….I’m going to be the bad guy here…sorry.
This is a (lightly) moderated forum…keeping the forum functional for its
mission, which is case sharing, education and consultation.
If we allow free-for-all advertisement, that will be abused…..and it can
undermine the forum and drive people away.
Yes, we have permitted some few posts advertising conferences and open
jobs, but not selling books.
I don’t think we want to go there.
I have seen Dr. Jans’ book and agree it is wonderful.
But this is not the forum for free advertising.
So many of our members publish…..if everyone were to promote their
publications, we would undermine the point of the forum.
Perhaps Instagram or Twitter would be more appropriate….I don’t use
either….I won’t bother you there!
I am the one to be sorry, Hilary. It was a momentary lapse of reason on my
part, in a state of euphoria
(actually i checked on the OCAD site if there was some rules on this, but
couldn’t find any, and as you stated, there has seen some jobpostings etc
and believed this was whitin limits).
Again; I am sorry, will not happen again 🙂
