This is a current case pending dictation.
No history of trauma, no other imaging studies.
There is hemorrhage within the Median nerve which is diffusely thickened and T2 bright proximal and distal to the hemorrhage.
This is not a bifid nerve.
Could there have been hemorrhage of a median artery into the substance of the nerve?
Could there be hemorrhagic PNST?
Must there have been trauma?
What do you think / recommend?
Thanks.
