Acromioclavicular joint space and alignment appears normal, but there is capsular delamination and periosteal stripping of the distal clavicle with fluid / hemorrhage deep to the stripped capsule on the clavicular side only
There is contiguous delamination of the clavicular insertion of the trapezius with muscle edema, though the clavicle does not protrude into the trapezius
The Obl Ax image shows the trapezial stripping
This really doesn’t fit Rockwood Classification….would it be considered a Type I or Type II separation?
Either way it should be treated conservatively, but I am curious how you would classify this?
Thanks
