There is no stress fracture or osseous stress reaction.
I want to call this Thigh Splints, but I realize that was described as
Adductor Insertion Avulsion Syndrome at the proximal to mid thigh. www.ajronline.org/doi/full/10.2214/ajr.177.3.1770673?mobileUi=0
This is at the insertion of the Vastus Medialis.
I have seen similar deep to the Vastus Intermedius.
Would you still call this Thigh Splints?
Just report soft tissue avulsive stress at the femoral inseriton of the V
Medialis, without fracture?
Is there such a thing as medial thigh splints?
Just wondering.

I meant to say, is there such a thing as DISTAL thigh splints?
They’re all medial, duh!
