23F hip pain x 2 years

When I first saw the Cor PDS, I thought this was a CAM lesion, but the
corresponding Cor T1 looks normal.
Findings suggest Greater Trochanteric friction syndrome.
The labrum is intact in Ax Obl and Sag images (not shown)

There is this smooth fusiform dark thickening of the lateral femoral
cortex….would you call this a CAM lesion? I’s purely lateral (as in a
pistol grip type deformity)

Jonathan Tresley sent images from a case that Dr. Chhabra previously
    posted ocadmsk.com/?s=soft+tissue+cam
which he considered a “soft tissue CAM lesion”
It is certainly in the same location, but this case has no soft tissue
changed, and only smooth cortical thickening of the lateral femoral neck.
He wondered if it could be a late stage version of the soft tissue lesion.

I’m sure Someone has some thoughts????
