Many many thanks to everyone who responded, here is the answers:
Ossified hematoma(subpeiosteal/galeal)
Ostemoma
Focus dysplaisa
Add history: This 9 yr boy’s mom told me her son had a trauma 3 years ago, but swollen at occipital at that time and no head CT. 2 years ago a mass was founded in right parietal, and getting prominent this year. Several ocaders mentioned the same image Fig 36 in article”pediatric emergencies:imaging of pediatric trauma”. “Cephalohematomas are subperiosteal and do not cross the sagittal suture”.
It seems a little difference between Fig36 and my case in the diploe. From the below image , I agree the crescent shape along the outer surface of right parietal bone suggest a ossified hematoma.
Best,

主题: please help! cranial lesion in child
Hi, dear friends,
9yr boy, bony probtuberance in right parietal. What’s the diagnosis? and why the inner band of diploe was sparing? Focus of fibrous dysplasia?
Focal hematopoietic hyperplasia?
Incipient osteoma arising atypically from the diploe?
Thanks!
Xianjing
